Route My Day ("the App", "we", "us") is a route planning and field work management tool for mobile professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

When you use Route My Day, we collect:

Account information — your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
Route data — stop names, addresses, and order you enter for planning purposes
Visit notes — any notes or service details you record per stop
Mileage and drive logs — distances and trip records you log in the app
Home address — if you choose to set a home location for distance calculations
Usage data — basic app activity to help us improve the experience

Route My Day is a business productivity tool. You are responsible for ensuring any information you enter complies with applicable laws and your organization's policies. Do not enter protected health information (PHI) or other regulated personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and sync your routes and data across your devices
To calculate distances and optimize your route
To generate mileage reports and drive logs
To send account-related emails (password reset, access approval)
To improve app performance and fix issues

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

Route My Day uses the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase — database and authentication (privacy policy)
Mapbox — maps and address geocoding (privacy policy)
Vercel — app hosting (privacy policy)
Resend — transactional email delivery (privacy policy)

These services may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. All data is stored in the United States.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and restricted API access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your data
